Animal Insights Consulting is an animal welfare consultancy supporting NGOs, charities, and advocacy organisations with research, behaviour change, and policy insights. From companion animals and farmed species to equines, small pets, birds, reptiles, aquaculture and animals in entertainment, I deliver evidence that guides strategy, business planning and campaigns to support meaningful change for animals.

Evidence Reviews & Strategic Insights: plan and conduct literature reviews, horizon scans, and species prioritisation studies, translating complex evidence into clear recommendations for projects, policy, and advocacy.
Behaviour Change Interventions: design and evaluate human behaviour change projects using COM-B and the Behaviour Change Wheel, creating interventions that create change for animals.
Policy & Advocacy Support: develop evidence-based project briefs and campaign packs, providing the scientific foundation to influence decision-makers and the public.
Project & Stakeholder Management: lead the full research cycle from concept and study design to delivery and reporting, coordinating partners and communicating findings to maximise impact.

I bring together academic expertise and practical delivery. With a PhD in Animal Behaviour & Welfare and experience managing projects for organisations including RSPCA Assured, Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, and OneKind, I understand how to translate evidence into strategy. My skills span welfare science, human behaviour change, and project management, giving you a partner who can design, deliver, and evaluate impactful projects across species.
